"in a phrase to cut these lips, i love you." -coheeeed.
of course, with all great happenings, there comes a zillion page long xanga update to go with.
so last night. blood brothers & coheed. at the riviera. with jess'ca & angel.

probaby one of the most amazing nights of my life. although, it started out very hectic.
jess'ca had to run around for hours trying to get the tickets. she was finally was able to get them, & we left for the train. which we found out was not leaving from chicago to geneva on that day. so we were bussed out to west chicago's train station instead; & ended up being about twenty minutes late for our original schedule.
& i ran into a pole there. not cool.
so we got on the trains. made the el train. met up with audrey & friends there.
here's where it got really good.
jess'ca was not wearing long socks. & wanted to bring her camera into the venue. so, since i was wearing long [enough] socks, i stuck the camera into my sock to bring it in.
note to all planning on going to the riviera with a camera in your sock; DON'T.
they check your socks. i found that out the hard way, & ended up getting hassled by the security ladies. & ultimately ended up getting kicked out of the venue when given the choice: "either throw away the camera, or get out."
i wasn't about to throw away jess'ca's camera. so i left.
but a bouncer outside told me "just hide the battery pack, & i'll get you in." so i hid it next to a cracked-out scene kid. & i got in. then came up to jess'ca crying & saying "WHY DID YOU DENY THAT IT WAS YOURS?!" which, she did not. 'cause the angry security lady didn't even ask her. lame.
although, now looking back on it, that was a great story. & apparently i handled it well.
anywayy.
we missed mewithoutYou. 'cause of the train delay. but of course, got to see the crappiest band. dredge? something like that. but they were lame.
then. bloodbrothersbloodbrothersbloodbrothers. most amazing thing ever. crowd was insane, no doubt about that. but it was so greattt.
i lost my shoes, so me & jess'ca had to take them off. also, not so good of an idea. my feet are like bruised & cut. but it was awesome.
they played a lot of the songs on 'crimes'. a lot of the good ones, even though the whole cd is just great.
& when they played live at the apocalypse cabaret & crimes, that was a godsend. 'cause it gave the crowd a chance to calm down, & me & jess'ca a chance to breathe.
so then they left. coheed came on. they were good, but they also played a lot from their new cd. we didn't really go in the crowd, due to the fact that we were unable to move from being so sore. & guys with mohawks were elbowing.
but then we left. on our way out, though.. i managed to score THIS:

signed by two of the blood brothers.
mhm.
so anyway. we ended up getting lost. missing our train. having my mom come get us in chicago.
& sleeping.
i don't think i've ever had a better day. <3
